- Apple Watch Series 6 are waterproof to a depth of 50 meters according to ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that they can be used during activities at shallower depths, such as swimming in the pool or the sea. However, they should not be used for scuba diving, water skiing or other activities that involve contact with water at high speed or submersion below a certain depth.
- The measurements taken by the Oxygen Saturation app are not intended for medical use, including self-diagnosis or consultation with a doctor, and are designed for general fitness and health-related purposes only.
- The ECG and Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification app requires the latest version of watchOS and iOS. The ECG application and irregular heart rhythm notifications are not intended for persons under the age of 22. The ECG app is available on Apple Watch Series 4 or later (not including Apple Watch SE). Irregular heart rhythm notifications are not intended for people who have previously been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation.
- To use Emergency SOS on Apple Watch without a cellular network, an iPhone must be nearby. If your iPhone is not nearby, the Apple Watch must be connected to a known Wi-Fi network and have Wi-Fi calling set up.
